We present the case of a patient with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive adenocarcinoma of the lung with an unusual metastatic pattern. CONCLUSIONThe metastatic pattern of non-small cell lung cancer with ALK translocation may be different from other lung cancers. An uncommon clinical presentation may sensitize treating physicians to perform corresponding molecular testing in order to offer the best treatment options.
