Zusammenfassung:Coal, flyash, slag, and combustion gases from a large cyclone-fed TVA power plant are analyzed for 37 trace elements. Mass balance calculations show that the sampling and analyses are generally adequate to describe the flows of the elements through the plant. Most mercury, some selenium, and probably most chlorine and bromine are discharged to the atmosphere as gases.
