Zusammenfassung: | The seasonal recovery of non-01 Vibrio cholerae strains from 7 Californian coastal sites was investigated by comparing their numbers during winter and summer of 1983. There was a 5-56 fold increase in the number isolated in the summer months when water temperatures were e higher. Vibrio cholerae levels were highest at sites where pollution was greatest. Coliform counts exceeded the legal limit of 1000 per 100 ml. |
