A new large-scale technique for quantitative recovery of enteroviruses by adsorption on suspended glass powder. Application to surface and drinking waters of the Paris area
Details are given of procedure and equipment for recovery of viruses from 500-litre samples of water by adsorption on powdered glass. Some results obtained by this technique for river water and drinking water in the Paris area are tabulated and compared with those obtained using smaller equipment.
