Zusammenfassung: | There are ca. 50 pluviographs in Norway, based on the tipping bucket and recordings on magnetic tape. These pluviographs (called PLUMATIC) are maintained by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MI) which also process the data-tapes and distribute information and results from the stations.
Two research projects are running for the time being. One project compares spatial rainfall distribution with point measurements in Oslo. The other project deals with microwaves for monitoring spatial rain distributions. |
