A redescription of Chirodiscoides caviae Hirst (Acari: Atopomelidae), with differentiating characteristics of male and female adult and nymphal stages
This paper is a detailed redescription of Chirodiscoides caviae at different stages of its life cycle. The nymphal stages can be distinguished through a variety of characteristics which not only permit differentiation between protonymph and tritonymph, but also between sexes.
