Peculiar electric-field-induced metastable state of charge-ordered molecular conductor beta -(meso-DMBEDT-TTF) sub(2PF) sub(6)

Zusammenfassung:The electric-field-induced metastable state of the checkerboard-type charge-ordered molecular conductor, beta -(meso-DMBEDT-TTF) sub(2PF) sub(6), was analyzed by the comparison of the experimental results of V sub(sample(t) measurement with the simulated behavior utilizing the self-heating effect. The fast resistance drop and the appearance of metastable state are confirmed to be non-thermal but electric-field responses. Moreover, the Raman spectroscopy measurement indicates that the electric-field-induced metastable state is the homogeneous charge-fluctuated state.)
