Zusammenfassung: | Testing in an elevated-type multiway labyrinth showed that adolescent rats (postnatal age, 30 days) make errors twice more rarely and reach the specified training criterion earlier than adult (60-day-old) animals. A relatively low emotional background and high research activity observed within the initial stage of the experiment accelerated the process of spatial maze learning of 30-day-old rats. Trained animals after their re-testing at the age of 60 days demonstrated a rather high level of consolidation of the memory traces. |
