Zusammenfassung:With the goal of improving the sorption capacity of chitosan and expanding the range of elements that can be sorbed, we modified chitosan cryogels with pyridoxal-5′-phosphate. We studied the behavior of the sorption processes for copper and uranium ions from solutions of their salts on the modified chitosan cryogels. We show that modification by pyridoxal-5′-phosphate leads to an increase in the sorption efficiency for copper and uranyl ions under static and dynamic conditions.
