Zusammenfassung:During fieldwork carried out in 2009, in the transition zone between miaskites and phenites (600 m to the west from the top of Mt. Ilmentau) unusual rocks were found. They differ from widely distributed nepheline syenites and from rare sandyites. According to the chemical and mineral composition (wt %) (SiO2 is 50.96, TiO2 is 1.63, Al2O3 is 20.50, Fe2O3 is 2.57, FeO is 3.39, MnO is 6.53, K2O is 6.94; microcline is 3035, nepheline is 2025, pyroxene is 1520, amphibole is 810, titanite is 45, albite is 34), the set of accessory minerals (apatite, titanomagnetite, ortite, rutile, zircon), massive texture, hypidiomor phic, and sometimes porphyraceous structure, these rocks correspond to malinites, rocks of the group of alkaline gabbroide.
