Zusammenfassung: | The current literature emphasizes the importance of education and investment in education in improving competitiveness and creating the knowledge-based economy. Through the creation of the European Higher Education Area, the Bologna process aims to create a Europe of knowledge, science, research and development. In this context, implementation of the Bologna principles at the School of Economics and Business (EFSA) has been analyzed and presented as well as the theoretical framework for research. This research has the characteristics of pilot studies aimed at creating a basis for future, larger studies.
The results showed that students do not study on a regular basis, but study concentrated, immediately before exams. Students do not attend classes regularly, and even when present at lectures and tutorials, they do not pay enough attention and when asked questions of the subject matter covered at the class they are not able to give accurate answers. Future research should be aimed at finding explanations of the situation and providing guidance to improve it. |
