Zusammenfassung: | We demonstrate a method for using microfludics to dynamically tune a photonic bandgap material. In this letter, the material is a photonic crystal fiber which is probed transversely. This geometry is analyzed experimentally and the resulting spectra are compared to band-structure calculations. The fluidic tuning system is thermally driven and the temporal response of this dynamic tuning is characterized experimentally. |
