The Influence of Ozone on the Electrochemical and Corrosion Behavior of Metals in Acid Media

The corrosion-electrochemical behavior of 09*G2C, 08X17T, 10X17H13M2T steels, 06XH28MDT alloy, and such metals as aluminum, chromium, and nickel are investigated in ozonized acid media. The effect of ozone on the corrosion-electrochemical properties of these metals are shown to be ambiguous.
