On the derivation for the gradients of the principal invariants
In this notes, it is shown that the method carried out by Truesdell and Noll [1] for the gradients of the principal invariants is available to be used for arbitrary second-order A. Finally, some trace identities for the derivatives of invariants are given.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
