3.5-GHz signal transmission in an all-optical chaotic communication scheme using 1550-nm diode lasers

We report an experimental demonstration of chaotic masking, transmission, and recovery of a 3.5-GHz message using an external-cavity semiconductor lasers operating at 1550 nm.
