A Power-Efficient Approach to Adaptive Polling Protocols for Wireless LANs
This paper proposes the low power adaptive polling (LPOAP) MAC protocol for infrastructure wireless LANs (WLANs). It operates efficiently under bursty traffic and can reduce mobile power consumption without performance penalties.
