Zusammenfassung:Electromyographic biofeedback has now been used with apparent success, although most often in an uncontrolled fashion, in the rehabilitation treatment of a wide range of neuromuscular disorders. These have included peripheral nerve-muscle damage, spasmodic torticollis, the stroke hemiplegias, and cerebral palsy. Studies of these applications are reviewed, and some specific problems that should be the topic of further controlled research are outlined.
