Review of Shaping the College Experience Outside the Classroom

This volume (1996) represents a report on the effectiveness of a number of programs funded through the 1980s by institutions of higher education to meet a set of enrollment and enhancement goals for career-related work and student aid. The report provides considerable descriptive data and an attempt to examine the experiences of students who participated in paid work experiences.
