Sustainability and its relationship to quality of life

There is an urgent need to preserve the environment in sustainable ways and to pay attention to the quality of life that leads to preserving the quality of human life because it represents a kind of natural wealth that is important for the continuation of life in any city. Sustainable infrastructure services are among the most important services that help provide a healthy and safe environment and enhance Economic and social development and increase happiness in the city. Therefore, it is an important need for the development of urban areas, and it is an important element for developing cities and achieving their urban sustainability. This research deals with the issue of sustainable infrastructure services in cities and deals with sustainable transportation as one of the most important infrastructure elements that are directly linked to the sustainability and prosperity of cities. Transport affects many aspects of daily life and the quality of life for mobile communities. Hence, the importance of sustainable transportation and its impact on the quality of life emerges. Therefore, the research aims to demonstrate the importance of sustainable transportation services in providing effective, safe, and healthy means of transportation for individuals and goods, while achieving sustainability in economic activity and its integration with the natural environment. This research took the interview approach as a method of application and measurement of the elected sample. As for the approach followed, it is a qualitative exploratory approach, where the research problem is represented in the research on how to apply sustainable services represented by sustainable transport in cities, where the research concluded that sustainable transport services are one of the most important services for the growth of any city and upgrading it to be of high quality and its environmental and economic prosperity.
