Zusammenfassung: | The three pillars upon which virtual reality (VR) stands- immersion, interaction, and user engagement with the environment and story-offer great promise for the future of education. Because of the prohibitive cost and restricted functionality of the gadgets, immersive VR has so far seen very limited application in instructional games. [3] state that immersion is essential for virtual reality, it is also possible for VR to be non-immersive if it "places the user in a 3D scène that can be directly handled, but it does so with a traditional graphics Workstation employing a monitor, a keyboard, and amouse." Since total immersion is necessary for virtual reality to realize its promise, it is what we concentrate on in our research. [...]technological advancements have allowed for the development of systems that accurately monitor motions and have minimal latency, both of which improve usability and elicit an emotional response firom the user. [...]it provides an excellent method for those who learn best by sight, sound, ormovementto approach, study, and retain new information [10]. |
