description | The increasing number of cars introduced a new problem of parking in malls, offices, etc. This problem is getting worse day by day and results in wastage of time of people and extra emission of carbon dioxide in searching for car parking in the parking area. To tackle this problem this paper will be proposing a model which uses new generation technologies like the Internet of Things, Cloud computing. In this paper we have proposed the whole model in three parts which are physical set up, cloud set up and customer set up. We have proposed a smart parking solution using optical through-beam sensors, which sense the light and based on that decide whether the parking is available or not. Due to cloud technology, we are benefiting from the cost by a great factor as we don’t need physical centers for each parking arena separately. Thus, in the coming years, this model can be scaled to each parking arena in the world with the usage of cloud computing as the world is facing the same issue. |
