description | Mother’s class is one of the sensitive intervention strategies with a family approach to increase knowledge, skills, and priority targets for the First 1000 days of life for pregnant women and mothers of children under five, with the hope of behavioral changes that can prevent stunting in Denpasar City. This study aims to explore internal and external factors and analyze strategies for the implementation of strengthening the mother class program. Qualitative and quantitative research design with research subjects carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, and then a Focus Group Discussion was conducted. Data analysis used IFAS, EFAS, and QSPM matrices. The results showed that the implementation of the mother class in the perfect category (80.74%) consisted of communication variables in the excellent category (71.75%), the availability of resources in the perfect category (80.84%), attitudes and commitments in the excellent category (70, 37%). The bureaucratic structure category is excellent (100%). The results of the data analysis of the dominant internal factors are the strength of the availability of trained officers, sufficient information media, and the limited means of supporting the mother class. While the dominant external factor is the linkage of cross-program plans to the mother class by including local content (pregnant women’s yoga, baby massage), the biggest challenge is the lack of maximum involvement of community leaders. The priority strategy for strengthening the mother class is structured, systematic, and sustainable mother class socialization by intensifying the involvement of health workers and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). |
