Diagnosis and assessment of the motivation and mathematical competence of students majoring in systems programming

The article discusses the problem of motivation in teaching mathematics to students majoring in systems programming. Based on research, conclusions are made about the reasons for reducing motivation and ideas are offered to improve it.
