Results: Serum adiponectin levels were 2.34 (0.77–4.95) ng/mL and 1.73 (0.01–7.76) ng/mL in patients and controls, respectively (p=0.316). Positive correlation was observed between the values of serum adiponectin, ESR (p=0.013, rho=0.362), and body mass index (p=0.018, rho=0.362) in patients. Conclusion: These findings indicate that adiponectin does not play a crucial role in the immunological and clinical patterns of pSS. |
