Preface

Welcome to the Proceedings of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of Agriculture, Environment and Sustainable Development (ISAESC 2023) 17-18 May 2023, University of Al-Qadisiyah, College of Agriculture, Al-Qadisiyah City, Iraq.The conference has been established as a perfect platform for researchers to exchange ideas and experiences on environmental topics, as well as to discuss the application of technology for sustainable development of food and agriculture. The aim is to bring together researchers, academics, scientists, students, and practitioners to share and present the latest research findings, developments, and applications in various areas of agriculture, such as engineering, organic agriculture, agribusiness, animal nutrition, animal production, veterinary science, food science and technology, food safety, food security and sovereignty, IT for agriculture, renewable energy, and other related research areas.Over a period of two days at the College of Agriculture, University of Al-Qadisiyah, the event will include several activities such as guest speakers, lectures, and research articles.Here are some objectives of a conference on agriculture, environment, and sustainable development:1. To discuss the latest research and innovation in agriculture and the environment, and to explore the role of technology and best practices for sustainable development.2. To promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to address the challenges of sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and economic development.3. To discuss policies and strategies for achieving sustainable development goals, including reducing poverty and hunger, promoting gender equality, and combating climate change.4. To raise awareness of the impact of human activities on the environment, and to explore ways to mitigate environmental degradation and protect biodiversity.5. To encourage public-private partnerships that promote sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation, and to explore funding opportunities for sustainable development initiatives.6. To provide a platform for stakeholders to share experiences, best practices, and lessons learned in sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.The conference was participated by 200 participants.
