description | Internet of Things (IoT) is the most emerging field and buzzword in the present era. It has versatile dimension with multifarious applications, which are pertinent to sustainable development. Although, environmental protection is a jargon which includes our every day to long-term endeavours. Environmental Protection and IoT, both have diversified utilities therefore their intermingled fabrication may give synergistic effect to restore environmental resources and will promote greenery of contemporary world. The most effective part of this overlapping is as IOT is online process of monitoring, planningand restoring; it will be an excellent device for environmental information collection into remote places. It will make easy the hard task, as it is harder to keep constant eyes on environmental changes. However, these problems may effectively solved through IoT by “Geographical Information System (GIS)”, “Remote Sensing (RS)”, environmental awareness creation and many others. This chapter will put a deep insight into a universal approach and the use of IoT in Environmental Protection and guiding the way towards the green globe. |
