Zusammenfassung:This research aims to design an information media for visualizing gratitude’s conception. Gratitude can be interpreted differently by different people in different contexts. As for Indonesian community, the terms of gratitude has been living in various of notion and its communication approach. However, this part of culture is yet could not be interpreted well. For elaborating the finding, a creative strategy must be well-designed that may help the community to understand more about gratitude and to embrace the gratitude’s conception and interpretation of others. This research is applying design thinking method, to examine the effective approach for informing community about gratitude. The conducted research towards target audience profile and background results that short video is one of public’s most interested media. Also the study that has been explored in this research regarding gratitude theory suggests that there are several elements that is assumed as constructing element of gratitude, such as Sense of Appreciation, Sense of Abundance, Gratitude’s Expression, and conditional states that triggers individual’s gratituition; this finding is defined as communication approach that titled as Gratitude’s Spectrum. Therefore, this research attempted to design animated video series as a method for visualizing the Gratitude’s Spectrum that will be distributed through video sharing social media, like Youtube. The result of this research is the creation of animated video series that facilitate the effectivity towards information delivery due to its characteristics of audio visual base that may enhances the process of informing and grabs the attention of target audience more easily.
