ASPECTS OF ROMANIA'S MARITIME STRATEGY-PAST AND PRESENT

The historical research through the study of documents allows us an analysis of the evolution and maturation of strategies in general, and maritime and naval strategies in particular, on both a global and national scale, the objective of this study being knowledge and understanding of strategies over the ages. This study is relevant both for the military enviromnent in terms of direct threats to territorial integrity and for the private sector, taking into account the economic importance of maritime and river borders.
