Zusammenfassung: | Feline cystadenomatosis is characterised by the development of numerous cysts of modified apocrine gland origin. Sequelae include structural or functional changes of the affected tissue(s), discomfort and secondary infections. While carbon dioxide laser ablation has been described for cystadenomatosis of the periauricular/auricular, lip, chin and perianal regions, peer‐reviewed studies using the therapy for eyelid cystadenomas (hidrocystomas) with histopathologic confirmation of diagnosis are lacking. This report describes the successful use of carbon dioxide laser ablation to treat eyelid manifestations of feline cystadenomatosis without adverse effect. |
