Zusammenfassung: | The action crisis represents the decisional conflict between persisting in pursuing a goal and giving it up. In the current study, the results of adaptation of the Action crisis scale to Slovak are presented across 11 subsamples and 1507 participants. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the original structure with 6 items does not provide an acceptable fit. The network analysis further showed that the most problematic item related to rumination was not stable and was connected to only one other node. Thus, a revised solution with five and four items was proposed (S-ACRISS R). In order to corroborate the convergent validity, a nomological network with 13 theoretically derived variables was examined. The results of the mini meta-analysis established the expected pattern of relationships with variables covering areas such as individual differences, motivation, goal-related cognitions, goal-related affect as well as variables associated with the process of goal attainment. |
