description | Reinforcement and repairing/restoration methods of earthquake-damaged concrete was studied in this paper. Static loading tests were conducted on reinforced concrete (RC) beams with different reinforcement ratios and columns under different axial compression ratios under horizontally low-cycle repeated loading. The effectiveness of strengthening and repairing damaged reinforced concrete structures using methods such as adhering steel plates and carbon fibre was studied. The properties of different reinforcement and repairing methods were summarized from the aspects of safety and reliability, construction convenience and economic applicability. Practical suggestions were brought forward to the actual reinforcement and repairing of the earthquake-damaged buildings. Theoretical basis was also provided for the revision of the standards for reinforcement and repairing. |
