Zusammenfassung: | The security of lithium-ion batteries is a serious problem due to the use of liquid electrolytes. In order to improve this issue, solid-state batteries are considered the next-generation energy storage devices due to their safety characteristics and potential high energy density compared to conventional ones. However, there are still some challenges hindering their practical application, mainly because of the interface problem between solid electrolytes and cathode materials, which has a significant impact on the electrochemical performance of solid-state batteries. In this review, some interface issues existing between various types of cathode materials and different solid electrolytes are comprehensively introduced and summarized, and the effective research methods proposed for interface modification and the results achieved are recommended and analyzed, especially the positive role of surface coatings in ameliorating interfacial problems. Finally, some insights into the interface problem and an outlook for the future development trends of solid-state batteries are put forward. |
