description The active spread of means of individual mobility in the world leads to a number of problems associated primarily with a high degree of risk of emergencies such as "vehicle - means of individual mobility" and the type of "pedestrian - means of individual mobility". In order to reduce the likelihood of such conflicts, within the framework of this article, an analysis of the existing classification systems of the vehicles under consideration, namely foreign and domestic approaches, has been carried out. The analysis of the accident rate indicators was carried out, the value of the severity of the consequences was determined (2.36). Based on the analysis of emergency situations and the market for personal mobility aids, a classification system was proposed based on the analysis of two parameters - mass (taking into account the operator's weight up to 70 kg, up to 100 kg and up to 150 kg.) And the power of an electric vehicle (up to 350 watts, up to 900 watts and up to 1200 watts). The work performed in the future will allow the development of proposals to minimize the occurrence of possible conflicts and the safe movement of all road users, including drivers of personal mobility equipment.
