description This study investigates the relationship between ecological footprint and health outcomes in E7 countries from 1990 to 2017. This study makes use of panel fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) and dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS) models to assess the relationship between the ecological footprint and health outcomes. Although the findings show that ecological footprint has a positive effect on life expectancy, implying that the current levels of ecological footprints support life expectancy, failure to strictly observe the level of ecological footprint, in the long run, may result in a negative impact on life expectancy. Therefore, more serious efforts and strategies are needed to keep the size of ecological footprints to be favorable to human life.
