Zusammenfassung:In this work, multi-walled carbon nanotubes showed interesting bolometer properties. The bolometer which turn the change in resistance of active material to the voltage responsivity can be considered as a highly efficient detector. Multi-wall carbon nanotubes immersed in polyvinylidene fluoride polymer was fabricated between two metallic electrodes to form a thin film bolometer. The bolometer was illuminated by IR source. This structure simplifies the design of the bolometric detector and gives rise to high efficiency through the extended heat sink electrode. The temperature coefficient of the resistance was calculated, and it was about 0.2% T −1 . The responsivity of the detector was about 2 V/W. The time response of this detector was found to be about 200 μs.
