In the present study the software ETABS 2017 have been used. The dynamic response of structure is evaluated by using time-history and response-spectrum analysis. It is concluded that building with square column perform well as compared to rectangular column in terms of seismic response. Seismic behavior of building with fluid viscous damper is more significant than building with friction dampers.
