Zusammenfassung: | The contribution presents a catalogue of twenty-four editions (together with two further recorded editions of which copies have not been found) of ottava rima compositions on the theme of love, which in printed 15th, 16th and 17th-century sources are called "rispetti continuati", "strambotti" or "fioretti". The catalogue comprises editions of 'rispetti' or 'strambotti' which are either explicitly attributed to Luigi Pulci or which, though published anonymously, can be associated with Lorenzo de' Medici's circle. Many of the editions, all of which have woodcuts on the title-pages, are very similar and for this reason have often been confused in earlier lists and catalogues. Most of the editions described here lack imprint details and were printed perhaps in either Milan, Venice, Florence or Rome. The rest were printed in Florence (All'insegna della Testuggine, Giovanni Baleni, and Orazio Barsi), in Venice (Francesco Bindoni, and Guadagnino), and by Zanotto in Milan. |
