Zusammenfassung: | Within the diverse studies on engagement, this research particularly aimed at understanding the diverse role of a specific set of job resources in engaging employees' at both work and organizational levels. All hypotheses were tested using hierarchical regression analysis on responses obtained from 522 Junior Management Grade–Scale I officers employed across a number of Indian public sector banks. All the job resource variables, namely, total rewards; support at the workplace including the organizational, supervisor, and co‐worker support; and physical work environment were significantly found to predict work engagement. These set of job resources except total rewards also significantly predicted organizational engagement. The findings of this research provide useful information on the prudent application of job resources to realize engagement among banking employees, especially in the Indian public sector banks settings, thus further enriching the literature. |
