Zusammenfassung: | The best conditions of surface plastic deformation (smoothing) with simultaneous ultrasound treatment are determined experimentally: specifically, the initial indenter insertion depth; and the angular and linear velocity of the workpiece. It is established that ultrasound treatment increases the surface microhardness. In intense ultrasound treatment, the microhardness reaches 7200 MPa, but chipping is observed at the surface. |
