description A sign reading "Anglican Service Inside" leaned against the main door of Budapest-Fasoń Evangélikus Gimnázium.1 Two floors up, a congregation gathered in the school's ornate assembly hall. The gathering represented St. Margaret's Anglican Episcopal Church, legally Szent Margit Anglikán Episzkopális Egyház1 St. Margaret's, Budapest, is a congregation of the Church of England's Diocese in Europe.3 It is relatively young, dating its founding to 1992 after the fall of communism.4 It also has no building of its own and alternates worship locations. Worshippers arrived by automobile and public bus to enter the grounds of Protestáns Szakkollégium in district XII, the Buda Hills (Hegyvidék).5 A large canvas sign at the street welcomed them declaring "Anglican Service Here This Sunday 10:30 a.m." Down a flight of stairs in the basement of an academic building, tables featured announcements of the upcoming general meeting and a sign-up sheet for seekers wanting more information about St. Margaret's Church. Surrounded by children, the chaplain opened a small glass bottle and explained the importance of the Jordan River as he added its water to the pitcher.
