description | Due to the intensive growth in maritime trade, there is a trend for the development of seaports. Coastal areas of the port location become sources of pollution. To reduce negative impacts on the environment, it is necessary to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources. Today, one of the promising areas for the development and improvement of power supply systems is the use of photovoltaic panels. The article describes the method of analytical assessment of the solar potential. On the example of Kaliningrad Seaport, an accurate assessment of the amount of incoming solar radiation is given, the calculation of the effectiveness of using various methods of installing photovoltaic panels is provided, and the prospects for using photovoltaic panels with various installation methods are determined. |
