description This paper describes the development of a database of past structural design cases. Each data is extracted from the integrated structural design and analysis software and stored in a database. The database is in RDB format, and the amount of data is over 400 properties, 15 tables, and the average number of records in each table is over 10,000. In addition to design information such as cross-sections, the database integrates material quantity information, which is unprecedented in other building databases. We have also developed a similar property visualization system using this database characteristic.
