Zusammenfassung:	The most frequent diseases were Heart Failure Lung Diseases, Cerebrovascular Diseases, Angina and Diabetes Mellitus. [...]it was found that there was a decrease in the total number of elderly hospitalizations during the study period, suggesting a good resolution of primary health care in the State. Conclusion: the ACSCs in elderly is relevant when it is compared to the total number of hospitalizations made by the Unified Health System, in this population, in the state of Santa Catarina. Health Evaluation, Health Planning, Primary Health Care, Public Health. 1 INTRODUÇAO As Internaçöes por Condiçöes Sensíveis a Atençao Primaria (ICSAP) sao definidas pelo Ministério da Saúde, pela Portaría 221 de 2018 (BRASIL, 2008), como um importante parámetro de avaliaçao da atençao básica de uma populaçao, em que se pode avaliar o acesso aos serviços de saúde, a abrangencia da rede de atençao básica e a resolutividade do sistema de saúde.
