Zusammenfassung:The main patterns of the influence of the modes of dehydration and carbonization on the electrical resistance of carbon fibers based on polyvinyl alcohol have been determined. For the produced carbon fibers, the presence of minima in the dependences of the electrical resistance on the final carbonization temperature was noted. The hypothesis of the formation of a special system of polycumulene bonds, which underlies the discovered phenomenon of ultra-low, no more than 0.193·10 –3 mOhm·cm, specific electrical resistance of elementary carbon polyvinyl alcohol fibers has been confirmed.
