Making strange connections: The challenge of crisis management

One of the greatest challenges facing crisis management is the cold hard fact that the most disparate and seemingly unrelated crises have a strange way of linking up and thus of doing even greater damage than if they had occurred simply and solely by themselves. It thereby poses an even greater challenge to what we not only take as reality, but how we manage it.
