description | The Hamiltonian for a system of two two-level atoms separately located in two cavities coupled through the overlap of the evanescent cavity fields in presence of an external classical fields is introduced. It is simplified by using unitary canonical transformations for both the atomic and photonic modes. The atomic population inversion and the degree of entanglement are considered. Different interactions are addressed within a temporal evolution of the system in correspondence with three dispersive regimes limits. Analytical expressions of the coefficients of the time dependent wavefunctions of the different Hamiltonians are derived. The influences of the photon hopping strength, detuning and the couplings of the external classical fields on the behavior of the atomic population inversion and the atomic entropies and degree of entanglement are investigated. The interrelation between the 1st-atom entanglement and the atomic population inversion is noted. General conclusions reached are illustrated through numerical results. |
