The data were collected through mathematics concept understanding tests. The statistic tests were used one sample t-test and independent t-test.The results of the research show that: (1) contextual learning in the cooperative learning of think pair share and scientific learning in the discussion setting are effective based on mathematics concept understanding of the 7th grade JHS; (2) contextual learning in the cooperative learning of think pair share is more effective than scientific learning in the discussion setting based on mathematics concept understanding of the 7th grade JHS. |
