To improve the reliability of design solutions, the need for more detailed road zoning based on the engineering surveys findings at the design stage has been justified. Bunch of methods for transforming indicators of primary materials in engineering surveys into summarized attributive characteristics of the environment has been proposed. The order of the three-dimensional configuration of linear facility (stations) elements the into the operational territorial units (OTU) for the implementation of the linear road zoning process based on the aggregate taxonomy algorithm has been specified.
