Zusammenfassung:	The paper shows the designed gearbox reliability assessment and analysis on the basis of the real one. The basic diagram has been analyzed as well as the units' eventual failures. Based on the designed structural diagram of the SU gearbox reliability level has been estimated. The measures to raise the reliability level have been proposed.
