Influence of TiO2 addition on the sintering, dielectric, and mechanical properties of Li2(Mg0.96Ni0.04)SiO4 ceramic
The influence of TiO 2 addition on LMNS ceramic sintering, dielectric and mechanical properties was studied. The characterisation method includes X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, network analyser, mechanical analyser, simultaneous thermal analyse...

Zusammenfassung: | The influence of TiO

addition on LMNS ceramic sintering, dielectric and mechanical properties was studied. The characterisation method includes X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, network analyser, mechanical analyser, simultaneous thermal analyser and dynamic mechanical analyser. A two-phase composite (TiO

and Li

) was obtained as shown in XRD patterns. With the increasing amount of TiO
2
, the grain size and crystallite size decreased. The starting point of shrinkage moves to a higher temperature, the activation energy increased, and the elasticity and stiffness were enhanced. With a densified microstructure, a near-zero
